THE WORLD seems SMALLER

Today, THE WORLD seems smaller for several reasons, because of many ways to communicate even though the people are in other countries. I think the most things that make like the statement is media. Through media, we can know what happens in other countries in same time period. Telephone is another great thing which make us easily communicate. We can talk through it. In addition, there are also telephone that which are available to talk face to face. Furthermore, there are transportation which are very fast, so that we can visit your friends or family easily. LOOK~! Even now, I am chatting with Pyung Ya!

Learning Profile

Last weekend,
Mr. Whiting came to us and we had find out what parts of our body uses in daily-life. My dominant parts are Right ear, Left eye, Left hand, and Left foot. I couldn't believe that I was Left dominant, because I always use Right hand as touch, and write..... As a result, My profile is 'GG'. While Mr. Whiting talking to us about profile, it was marvelous to catch the marker with left hand which Mr. Whiting threw to me. Through my profile sheet, I could know what should I need to improve and be confident about. From the sheet, there were descriptions about me, with bullet points. Parts of them was the weakest points of me. Especially penmanship, my penmanship was really strange. Even it was really hard to read. However, my mom kept help me to figure it out when I was child, and I'm proud of myself because now nobody has problem to read my writing.

From my profile sheet GG said I learn best by visually focusing on auditory input and analyzing the details of information. Which is right. At the same time, I got that this is why I am comfortable when someone is saying something to me. Listening is most easy thing which helps me to focus on something which I am doing. Otherwise, Reading. It makes me boring. To focus on Reading something is my challenging part. Especially books. When I am reading them, before I know, I'm thinking of something else. Not about the book! Through my profile sheet, I could know my strongest point clearly. The most important thing that I got from the sheet was that if I memorize something with listening. I usually don't forget! Unlike reading. Learning something with auditory skill will be helpful for me to understand something easily. When I'm listening to someone saying, I can memorize them and summarize to small size, and I can have the main point of it. However, Reading, I easily forget the first part of it. So, I need to re-read and re-read.

Another statement which is in my profile sheet is 'As an auditory learner must hear and usually has a good memory for the details, spelling and math.' which is I strongly agree. I am really strong at memorizing Vocabulary(especially spelling). If I see the vocabulary, I never forget the spelling. The effect comes with twice times much if I memorize them with listening. It's my inclination since I learned English. How about math? I'm not that good at.... However, when I memorize a formula, It's very easy to remember, either I never forget them, and that makes math funny for me. The thing that makes me to memorize well with just looking at them is because I love letters and numbers.

To learn effectively, my profile sheet recommended me that I need to set my right ear(Because I am right ear dominant) toward to my teacher. So that I can hear obviously what teacher is talking about. From my profile sheet in additionally, exercises which helps me to warm up my brain to focus on, such as Lazy 8's. It will helps me to keep focus on class whole time-1hour and 20minutes. As a concluding remark, to set right ear toward to my teacher and make sensory experience and do a exercises before the class starts, It will support my brain to keep concentrate on class.

The strategies that would help me in my learning is to understand and synthesize information from a whole perspective, and explore ambiguity, emotions and movement. I always have trouble with understanding. So, I take time like twice times more than others, and even if the question is indirect way, it will takes more time. However, when I get them up, unlike others, I keep the thing what I have understood and makes the progress faster than others. Then, I can come up with brilliant ideas when I caught the purpose and main point of thing we are doing. If I synthesize information from a whole perspective, it will help me to figure out my understanding problem.

I would like my teachers to know this about me that I'm very weak at understanding, so that I can't understand the instruction without obvious details. Even it is in Korean, I would not understand what it means. If there got some extra-tips or extra-information, It will be enough for me to figure out easily. Furthermore, I would like teachers to know that I can concentrate more deeply where the place is quiet, because it stimulates my understanding skill. If not, I would easily distracted by sound. Yes, I'm really sensitive. I can't just ignore the sound around me, always join them while I was not aware of it.

As a conclusion, I knew that what kinds of learner I am and what inclination do I have. Through this profile sheet. I could know what ways do I need to choose if I want to learn things effectively than before. Also, I could know what are my problems and what are my strong points. I could know myself obviously and clearly. I am now scared how stupid strategy I would choose if I didn't check up my learning profile.

Hello Roy, my name is Nam Hoon who have read your thought which is in 180p. If I'm in your situation. I also would feel like you. However, I disagree with you. Roy, I think you need to Think larger and larger. The main thing that you need to follow is law. not an owl. I like your protective attitude. But do you know that? There are things that need to give up. The people who construct the burrowing owls nest have already got the permission from government. Remember this, you are a citizen of the state. protecting owls, constructing is responsible for government, not you. For instance, I got a situation that buy the ticket of play park or not. there was a long line and I was last of them. I couldn't buy the ticket, because I didn't have the time. I understand that you want to protect the burrowing owls to be closer with Mullet Fingers and Beatrice Leep. Actually, when I was reading this book. Some parts, I couldn't understand your mind that why are you curious about Mullet Fingers who was running without any shoes. Think larger and deeper, from now to future.

Brain or Heart

Have you ever got trouble your brain and heart?

When I was 1st grade of elementary school, I had a problem between snacks that I loved. I only had 2 RM, and I wanted both of snacks. It was very serious for me to choose one of them. One was small but delicious. Another one got lots of amount of snacks. I think those for like 15minutes. However, there was no clue for me.

My brain was telling me that buy the delicious one. However, it was easy to finish them, because they were really small. However, I could taste the delicious tasty when I taste them for a moment. "Buy that one!". My brain was shouting at me. Also, I really wanted to. Otherwise, I knew that it will easily disappear when I start to eat.

Meanwhile my brain was shouting, my heart was being sarcastic. Like it doesn't want to have small snack. It was blaming me to buy the big snack that have lots of amount of contents. For awhile, I was confusing, because my parts of body were fighting.

What do you think that how did I solve the problem? My brother came in, and saw me. We combined our money and bought two of them. It was really delicious to eat with my brother. My brother was who solve my problem when I am in struggle.

Power of Persistence

Someday, you will have a problem and overcome with your persistence.

The time that when I got Power of Persistence was that when I just started to ride bicycle. At first time, I got many hurts from. However, I didn't give up, because I envied that the student who was riding the bicycle. It looks really fun and exciting. I rode 2 wheels bicycle from first time. Even it was really hard to learn. Sometimes, my parents hold my back of bicycle to encourage to learn it. I kept to learn and finally I got the clue for riding the bicycle. I could feel that it's so exciting and cool. The feel was that I am running in the sky. That time, I knew that persistence makes one perfect. From now on, I strive for my perfection by persist.

My City

My city in Korea is Suwon. It is a beautiful city. We can feel the clear air. It makes us very happy. We also can hear the sound from traffic. They are noisy. However sometimes, you will know that if there’s no sound like that, it would not funny. How about the taste? There are a lot of restaurants in Suwon. Sushi restaurants, meat restaurants, BBQ restaurants, Korean foods restaurants……. They are all delicious that not like your thoughts. In Suwon, we can smell a lot. For instance, restaurants’ smell, grass, and sand. They are strange, but if you live there for a long time. You will greet them. Touch the ground and walls. Some of them are soft, the others may haggard. This city was the best city ever I seen.
